ABOUT THE FILM

Kevin Box has always known exactly what he intends to do with his life. In his words, "I want to have a conversation with people now and hundreds of years into the future."

As an artist, Kevin has deeply studied the method of "lost wax casting" that is used to create bronze sculptures. He spent his early years being mentored by other successful metal sculptors. Ultimately, he developed his own unique signature by unfolding origami and then casting the beautiful crease patterns into museum quality wall hangings.

Along the way, Kevin met the "rock stars" of the Origami world. Dr. Robert J. Lang, Beth Johnson, and Michael LaFosse are origami artists who are admired worldwide. Kevin invited them to collaborate and recreate their tiny paper designs into massive sculptures…some as high as 25 feet! Audiences agree that it is so exciting to see these small paper “compositions” transformed into gigantic metal sculptures that will last forever.

Our film, "ORIGAMI IN THE GARDEN" is the origin story for Kevin and his wife Jennifer as they now create multiple traveling exhibitions of their artwork. Their ongoing mission is to spread Peace and Inspiration to the world through sculpture. Over the past decade, their unique exhibitions have been viewed by over 2 Million people!

"ORIGAMI IN THE GARDEN" is an Artfilm, a Love Story, and a Spiritual Journey that inspires all of us by showing what is possible…just starting with a simple piece of paper!
